Shattering the status quo through disruptive entrepreneurial support.

Philly Mompreneurs

About Us

It all started in 2018 when a group of us met as members of a new mom support group in South Philadelphia. We were each coming to terms with new motherhood, and learning how (and if) we could keep our career dreams afloat while raising small humans.

We wanted to work, but we didn’t want to compromise time with our families for a traditional corporate job.

And so, each in our own time, we began to consider entrepreneurship.

And then we learned that we aren’t on the same playing field as other entrepreneurs.

While hustle culture was calling to us, so was daycare — to tell us our kid was sick yet again.

We started a on a WhatsApp chat because we knew that the only time we could get sh*t done was when we were stuck under a sleeping baby scrolling on our phone. And we did just that.

Traditional systems have failed us, so we are making our own community and taking things in to our own hands.

We are a group of gritty, resourceful go-getters who are also learning how to set boundaries so that we can have the work-life balance of our dreams.

We want to raise up every mompreneur and tell her that she can do this, even if it looks different.

Meet the Philly Mompreneurs

We are a community of mothers and small business owners who want to raise up every momprenuer and tell her that she can do this, even if it looks different. We are shattering the status quo through disruptive entrepreneurial support.

    Why I’m a Mompreneur

I consider myself a momprenuer because I don’t see myself as a typical entrepreneur. Whether I like it or not, I’m on a different playing field. And I’ve found support in other mompreneurs who reject the intense hustle culture of entrepreneurship while also trying to build something substantial, on our own, outside the 9-5.
